L\u2019iniziativa \u00e8 stata pubblicata assieme allo Scudo europeo per la democrazia e ambisce a contribuire all\u2019affermazione di uno spazio civico aperto, in particolare aumentando la partecipazione, la protezione e il sostegno alle organizzazioni della societ\u00e0 civile (e ai difensori dei diritti umani). Poich\u00e9 tale ambizione si scontra con notevoli problematiche che affliggono lo spazio civico e che hanno origini sia endogene che esogene, si ritiene particolarmente importante comprendere cosa abbia ispirato la Commissione e quali siano le principali azioni e traiettorie. Al tal fine, ci si interrogher\u00e0 sulla reale carica innovativa della Strategia nel quadro della prassi UE nell\u2019ottica della difesa dello spazio civico e si formuleranno riflessioni ulteriori per immaginare un pi\u00f9 solido inquadramento del tema nel diritto sovranazionale vincolante.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Abstract (ENG)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This contribution focuses on the European Commission\u2019s recent Strategy on Civil Society. The initiative was published alongside the European Democracy Shield and aims to contribute to the establishment of an open civic space, in particular by increasing participation, protection and support for civil society organizations (and human rights defenders). Since this ambition clashes with significant problems afflicting the civic space, which have both endogenous and exogenous origins, it is considered particularly important to understand what inspired the Commission and what the main actions and trajectories are.
