Abstract (ITA)
Il contributo si concentra sull’istituto della protezione temporanea, previsto dalle norme primarie e disciplinato dalla direttiva 2001/55/CE. Analizzatane la prima (e unica) attuazione nella gestione di un afflusso massiccio di sfollati provenienti dall’Ucraina, vengono indagate le “sorti” della protezione temporanea nel complesso di riforme determinate dal Nuovo Patto sulla migrazione e l’asilo.
Abstract (ENG)
The paper focuses on the institution of temporary protection, as provided for by the Treaties and regulated by Directive 2001/55/EC. After analyzing its first (and unique) implementation in the management of a massive influx of displaced persons from Ukraine, the “tide” of the temporary protection is addressed in the framework of reform provided by the New Pact on Migration and Asylum.
