EZIO PERILLO, An Italian Constitution to be in line with the Rule of Law of the European Union: it is really a problematic update?

ABSTRACT – Among the three big founding States of the European Union, France, Germany and Italy, the last one is the only one that has not yet updated its Constitution on the role of the Union and its relationship with the Italian legal system. According to the author, such an update would be, at the constitutional level, a guarantee of Italy’s functional cooperation in the process of European integration and an effective factor of governmental and legislative stability .
