In order to qualify as a young or early career academic, authors should in principle be aged 30 or under. Authors over the age of 30 are eligible if it is less than 3 years since they completed their PhD. Co-authored articles are admissible, provided both authors are young or early career academics. The maximum number of words is 10,000, including footnotes. The submission deadline is 31 October 2023. Submissions will not be considered before September 2023. Submissions should be sent to the Managing Editor at CMLRev@law.leidenuniv.nl – Please indicate that this is a submission for the Prize, and explain on which ground you come within the category of young or early career academic.
